• Virtual-token balances, transaction records, and standings

We do not use analytics, tracking, or error-monitoring tools, and we do not collect device or browser information ourselves.

When you use Stake Your Take, our infrastructure providers (such as our hosting and authentication services) process basic technical information like IP addresses and browser type in their operational logs as part of delivering the service. We do not collect or retain this information ourselves.

We do not collect payment information, because Stake Your Take does not accept payments or sell virtual tokens.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and secure your account
• Operate groups, takes, token balances, and standings
• Send verification, security, notification, and service emails
• Provide support
• Detect cheating, fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Troubleshoot and improve Stake Your Take
• Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with law

We do not sell your personal information.

3. What Group Members Can See

Stake Your Take is currently organized around private groups.

Other members of a group may see information connected to your activity in that group, including:

• Your group handle
• Your takes and their terms
• Your virtual-token balance
• Your record and place in the standings

Your email address is not displayed to other users.

Activity in one group is not automatically visible to members of another group.

4. Service Providers

We use third-party providers to operate Stake Your Take, including services for hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, and sports data.

These providers may process information as needed to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, investigate abuse, or protect the security and rights of Stake Your Take and its users.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use only essential cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in, remember essential settings, maintain security, and operate the service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Blocking these technologies may prevent parts of Stake Your Take from working properly.

6. Retention and Account Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

You may delete your account through the available account settings.

After deletion, we may retain or de-identify limited group, take, ledger, and standings records when needed to preserve accurate competition history, settle existing takes, or prevent abuse.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for sharing private-group invitations and passwords only with people you trust.

8. Children

Stake Your Take is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The date at the top will show when it was last revised.
